For 2011, we're excited to unveil our new Online Store! We're selling new shirts and all-new hoodies to raise money and awareness in 2011. Our 2011 apparel will be darker gray with white letters. Orders need to be submitted by August 28th, 2011.
We're proud to also announce a new partnership with the Iota chapter of Alpha Gamma Sigma fraternity at Arkansas Tech University. This summer, the men of Alpha Gamma Sigma voted to change their philanthropic focus to the Alzheimer's Association and will be working with Sarge's Army to do so. We're looking forward to great fundraising and awareness events from the men of Alpha Gamma Sigma as we continue the fight against Alzheimer's Disease.
Sarge's Army Shirt Design Last year, the new Sarge's Army logo was so warmly received we have decided to use it again for the front of our 2011 fundraising apparel this year. Our new slogan "Fighting Alzheimer's until it's just a memory" has been centered on the back to encourage others to follow as supporters of Sarge's Army lead the fight! Nichole Hamilton, of NicholeHamiltonDesign.com, graciously donated her Sarge's Army Shirt Created time and expertise to us again. Nichole's contributions have been instrumental to not only our team, but several Alzheimer's related events. We truly appreciate the skill, dedication and time contributed by Nichole and her husband David.
The Alzheimer's Association has updated the name of the annual walk event to better clarify its purpose. As of 2011, the annual walk formerly known as "Memory Walk" will now be known as "Walk To End Alzheimer's". Join us at the 2011 "Walk To End Alzheimer's" to show your support for the cause! The event is free and there will be lots of things to see and do for the kids!
